Mark your calendars for the KSBA Fall Conference on Saturday, November 15 at the Owensboro Technical and Community College in Owensboro, Kentucky.
We have a fun and educational packed day with two tracks. Our keynote speaker is the wise while also entertaining Dr. Jim Tew. Jim is an Emeritus Faculty member at The Ohio State University. During his forty-eight years of bee work, Jim has taught classes, provided extension services, and conducted research on honey bees and honey bee behavior. Jim is the author of several best-selling books, writes for several national bee magazines, and is the host of a Podcast and YouTube channel "Honey Bee Obscura."
The day will include a Beginning Beekeeper track of four courses to help prepare new beekeepers for spring bees. Our Advanced Beekeeper track will feature topics such as Queen and Hive Management, Maximizing Honey Production, Treatment-Less Beekeeping and much more.
We have 11 vendors booked for the day, many fabulous door prizes already committed, a silent auction and our soon-to-be famous honey tasting contest where all attendees vote for their favorite.
